Here for your marketing pursuits.

Hello! Welcome to my corner of the world, I'm Kaylei.

Digital media has presented itself to me in various manners throughout my life, the earliest being photography. I started photography when I was eleven, being granted the opportunity of being my mother's assistant to her photography business and the rest was history.

Graphic design came along with being elected as a yearbook editor. There I learned the ins and outs of the Adobe Suite and received advanced graphic design training through a yearbook program at University of the Pacific. I edited three yearbooks and designed two of them, gaining extensive knowledge by working independently and collaboratively to complete deadlines.  Through word of mouth, I was given jobs designing t-shirts, brochures, pamphlets; small projects that kept me creatively inclined.

Videography started when I was seventeen. I had created an intimate documentary and submitted it into a local film competition, which ended up winning the Coordinators Award with Yesterday Again Film Festival. With a new lens, I decided to attend Sonoma State University and advanced my knowledge for film and creative marketing. I was able to obtain a few positions where I quickly rose through the ranks of the on-campus studio to end up in the General Manager position of Studio Blue for two years. Outside of assisting students to create over 70+ unique video concepts, in this position I amassed national and global recognition for my efforts in videography such as: National Jury Award for Campus Movie Fest, Best Cinematography and Third Overall with Santa Rosa Film Festival, Honorable Mention at Student World Impact Film Festival and various opportunities that I was able to seek out.

One of such opportunities being a marketing campaign video with a partner of National Geographic, The Hydrous project. Through this project, I was able to curate a more specified item of how I wanted to approach Digital Media Marketing and implement them into marketing campaigns in office settings, some of which are highlighted on my Graphic Design tab.

Digital media is a passion I hold very close to my heart. Creativity and curiosity are my closest friends and motivators so feel free to reach out if you have a project I might be of service on!
